The ground rules

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and is responsible for your use, including any payment. You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure.

2. It's a simulation

Judges and customers are AI simulations created for practice. Some judges are shown under names inspired by well-known investors; they are not those people and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Their questions, opinions, “offers” and debriefs are generated automatically and may be wrong. Nothing in Shark Trials is investment, legal, financial or business advice, and no offer made in a trial is real or binding.

3. Your content

You own what you say, write and upload. You give us permission to store and process it to run your trials, keep your history, provide support, keep the service safe and improve it, including by sending it to our AI providers as described in the Privacy policy. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share or anything that must stay confidential.

4. Fair use

• Don't harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or try to make the AI produce harmful, hateful, sexual or illegal content.
• Don't create many accounts, automate trials, scrape the service, probe it for weaknesses, or try to get around limits or payments.
• Don't resell or redistribute the service or the AI's output as your own product.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules or put the service or other users at risk, temporarily or permanently. If you think we got it wrong, contact us.

5. Free and paid plans

The free plan has daily limits that may change. Paid plans are described on the Pricing page, with prices including applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel; one-time packs don't renew and expire as stated. Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund and cancellation policy. We'll tell you before any price change applies to you.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Shark Trials running, but it may be unavailable at times, and features (including AI providers and judges) may change. Voice recognition depends on your browser and microphone.

7. Our responsibility

Shark Trials is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on a trial or debrief, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

8. Ending

You can stop using Shark Trials and delete your data at any time from your Profile. We may end these terms for an account that breaks them. Sections 2, 3, 7 and 9 continue to apply after that.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first; most issues can be fixed quickly. Otherwise, the courts in New Delhi, India have jurisdiction.
